Default Could be worse...

As most of you know my wife and I are expecting your first child in Sept. Well the baby has been measuring big for a couple of months now. Right now at 30 weeks the baby is 4lb 10oz. The doctor has my wife coming in every week now. They have changed the due date to the 26th of August. If the baby gets to 10lbs at 37 weeks then they will take the baby by c-section. 37 weeks hits right at the NE Gathering. The doctor has advised us against traveling in the near future. So I'm going to have to pass on Newport this year (I hope there is a next year). I really wanted to go. CSickNick and I were going to unvail his new totally custom top on his 20'Seafari. Things could be worse and I'm glad they are not, but i'm just a little disapointed. But on that day if I can I'll be taking the 19 out for a ride (with a few beers of course)In honor of the NE Gathering..

Don-Congrats on the upcoming addition to the family! The c-section does delay Seacraft usage. Tomorrow's my first trip on the 18' since baby #3 came c-section on 5/29. Watch those brews, after sleepless nights, each one equates to five or so . Happy 4th!

Well I see these new Fathers and Lord knows we wold not be on the Seacrafts while wifey is in labor. However, My Landlocking is due to being a new Grandpa. (Or relatively new) I must say it is hard getting used to but I am high and dry until next week and naturally the seas are calm. Congrats Dads! There is no better feeling. Good Health!

snookerd...Thanks to you I now realise what my problem has been. You stated that 1 beer equals 5 when you are going sleepless...Eureka !!! I had twins on may 19th...Talk about sleepless..I had a few beers yesterday and what used to be an appetizer was a full course..I can really feel it..I guess I need to tell my wife I need more sleep. !!!!!Yea right.

Congrats to pipes on the upcomming baby.

catman-LOL.Thanks for laugh. It's nice to know I'm not the only one feeling that same beer ratio (5:1)! Twins -congrats man. Double trouble-it could be your next boat name. Some how I managed to take out the the whole family including the 1 month old to "beer can island" on the boat yesterday. Damn that's alot of work! We had friends come with their kids too. 5 kids and 4 adults. Talk about testing the coast guard weight limits. The boat rides like a rock with that weight-very smooth.
