N.E. gathering this year?

Is there going to be a N.E gathering this year? Maybe not during Jazz Fest so the lodging is a bit more reasonable. Now the the baby is here and I have the new truck its more of a realistic plan this year..

Unfirtunatly due to our house project taking longer than expected I can not have the gettogether at our home like last year and do not have the time to organize one, I promise next year but this year is out for me, Maybe something in the fall?

Well Otto.. I've posted before about trying to put together an event here in New Jersey and got little to no response. Seeing that my place isn't big enough or close to a major town that we could host an event at, therefore I need to find a place. After talking to a few people, it became clear that there where places to host events at a price. With a price comes a commitment and not many poeple are willing to put out the bucks for a pay event. With a help of a few people on this board I could put together a nice event, but it would cost a few bucks and you would have to pay up front. I posted a tread like this before and didn't get much of a reponse. I'm going to try to put together another "float-n" this summer at the Flying Cloud or place near by. But this will only be a day trip for most.

Don...did you get my e-mail...I will help out an Atl.City gathering...I think we should just come up with a date and go with it, this way we can put the word out...I know the Cloud gets crouded on weekends as any water front restur. I will be in for the Flying Cloud or anywhere in NJ. My boat may not be ready but I do have a little 16' aluminum skiff with a 9.9 on it. That would be an all day adventure, but then I could probably troll there and back. Of course Chris may have his bracket on too [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] .
