On a side note on whether the guys in the UnClassicSeacraft booths are nice or not - the guy at the RI show was OK even after I told him I had an old one. Of course, he didn't know anything about the old ones either. But at one point and he didn't know I was in listening range, ge was showing theat Powerboat Reports article and talking about this wonderfull site (as if we supported 04 Seacrafts - OK 2004 Seacrafts as 74 and 84 are well represented here)...

I had a great idea, as long as all us guys are going to be down for the show why don't we finish Chris's boat for him. wih all this man power and beer should take us no time at all.

Pogpen,

Teriffic idea. If Chris wants to put the boat in the garage, heat it to 75 a day in advance, get all the materials ready, I'll have my tools, compressor, etc. and will volunteer Friday night after the show and Saturday until Noon.

Tom is in too, he just doesn't know it yet. One transom, 4 guys all night? What's the theory? 4 beers per hour times 4 men (and maybe Robin) times 18 hours equals (wait, I need a calculator...) 288 divided by 12. Wow, that's 24 cases. Good thing he bought that 3/4 ton pick-up...

Seriously, we're in if it's heated.

Hey you guys coming to the ac boat show down from Mass:

Do any of you guys have big ass trucks like and f-250 or excursion - or similar and want to make a few bucks on the way down?

I have a boat - 23foot regulator on it's own trailer (in great condition) that needs to come down to this neck of the woods. Boat is in Quincy Mass.

I'll pay all tolls/fuel for the trip (both ways) and a night in a respectable AC hotel.

It will save me from drivng up there and back down to AC.

Otto-

Since I was laid off last spring, I've been working semi-regularly at a friend's boat restoration shop. Since I like it so much.....don't know if you can call it a real job

Finster-

Thanks for the offer. I'll talk to Scott M and see what he says.

Mada-

If my truck were a bit newer, I would tow that Regulator down to you. Unfortunately, the old Bronco needs to last until I get my job situation straightened out.

Hey NJ Scott-

I didnt know Scott M was out of the country. I hope he is someplace warm.

I'm doing well. How are you? You coming up to the Boston boat show? I dont think I will make it to the AC show, but I did make it to the NY show with my Dad over the holidays. A lot of eye-candy at that show
