Hey Scott... I have some great memories of aquiring "Bimbo Boat Ballast" the night before a race in Newport, finny just spent nights with guys and bunker oil 60miles offshore...
See… he doesn’t know what he's missin... SO whos bringing the sailboat to Newport?? The Ladies love em !!

Funny story about “Live ballast”.. While I was interning at a hospital in Boston one of the Pharmacists, very attractive, refined and attended school in Rhode Island, started to talk to me about sailing ... there were a bunch of people around eating lunch and listening. She talked about racing on some good sized boats. I said how did you get started in sailing ..and she innocently says .."I was deck meat" .... Jaws dropped , soda thru noses, choking on food ...It was hilarious

I tell ya …. What’s not to love about sailing …but I guess I’m getting old cause now seeing stuff like this gets the adrenalin going …. Not to mention outrigger clips poppin !!! Oh yeaaahhhhh !!!

Now you're talking!! Screw the wind, I want something that'll cruise at 30 knots burning 80 gals/hour. The 55 with 1500 MANs goes like a raped ape, so the 56 must be pretty damn close. I need to win the lottery.

"I was deck meat" .. Never heard that one before. I love it!

Yeah, I quess the reason that my foul weather gear is not half of what it was when I sailed is I twist two keys and push those two levers and I'm home before it starts to rain...
