Anyone who ties up a classic to my dock is welcome to a beer anytime. The prize is a set of these babies hand crafted by yours truly. A full set consists of a 4,5, and 6 Oz. jig. These will give you the edge when hunting for that doormat

Chaz - get the sawzall out! Just kidding if you can get to Westbrook we can tie you up somewhere south of the bridge.

Check these out.

I would not bother with paying for a slip. If you cannot make it under the siging bridge we can always anchor the boat up in Duck Island, which is very protected. I don't forsee us spending much time at my house anyway, I would hope we will be fishing. I think we will use my dock more of like a meeting place or if someone wants to put their boat in the night before and leave it tied up at my house for the weekend.

I have not gotten mine in the water either. I do not know if I will be ready, I started a few projects because of the low water temps and the slow bite.
I figure we can push it off a few weeks, I would be good for June 25 or 26, or we can just go for it. It would be nice if a few more guys would chime in for a head count.

Jim - If my boat is not ready for the fourth of June could I grab a spot on your boat?

Well, I have been following this and I would definately be in - if I was in, but it's gonna be a while for me. Some of you may have seen my thread on my bottom problems.I think it's been the coldest May in like 60 years or something.
If I get her goin, I'll make it.
Bill

I now think we should postpone, due mostly to the uncertainty of the weather and the definite drop in water temps. I can fish on Sat June 25th but I'm working on the 26th. Just think we should wait a while until spring returns and we can enjoy it. Still your call, of course I would give you a seat on my boat. Although there is a great bass bite on in the western sound, it's all fresh chunking, some big fish. I saw a report from Westbrook and they had some cows. Do you follow CTfisherman.com? Excellent reports and discussions. I'm supposed to hit Shinnecock on my friends boat for fluke this week. He had a 12 and 9 lb doormat. Now big weakfish too, he's fired up, and I have to listen to it. Later, Jim.

I agree lets try for the 25th of June, we can always push it back again if the glacier doesn't retreat by then. I think it will give us all more time to get the boats ready and looking pretty. Hopefully Billybob will get his bottom fixed and join us. And yes I do follow CT Fisherman, that is how I found ClassicSeacraft.com.
