1983 20' Center Console what height was the transom from the factory?

I do believe it was a 20" transom. Weird huh? with all that deadrise they still pulled a 20" transom... thats the one flaw i saw with those was the short transom/splashwell(sinkwell) I have no other gripe about the twenties other than they don't quite ride like big brother 23'
