25” Transom and glass thickness
Does anyone know the thickness of the outside glass on the 20’ sceptre or SF transom (1970’s)? Assuming I taper the glass back about 12 to 1 on the repair, do you think the structural integrity will be as good as new if I do the repair from the outside?
When raising the transom 5”, does this have any impact on a cable steering setup? |

Re: 25” Transom and glass thickness
Anyone with a solution for the steering problem? Hydraulics would work, but its rather expensive.
Thanks |

Re: 25” Transom and glass thickness
Eb if you need to get a new steering system - those No Feed Backs are fairly cheap right? Not sure on the HP ratings probably below 150 but these systems are about $200. The Hydraulic is about $800-1000 I think...

Re: 25” Transom and glass thickness
The problem is if I raise the transom 5 inches, the splash well will be too low to run a steering cable. I would think Hammer and Tim D would have run into this?
