Finish Work
Hey all, I have a 1984 20 foot Masterangler that has been partially restored by the prior owner. My question concerns the area where the deck and gunnel or top plate of the boat meet. There is an odd transition. The old owner used a rigid 90 degree trim piece to frame in the area around the rod rack. Any suggestions for replacing it?

Re: Finish Work
????? Deck gunnel top plate ????
Just re-did My '83 MA ,the deck to the gunnel had a gap(1-1.5") that was foamed in to close it then carpet was covering that. I removed the Carpet refoamed to smooth it out then Rhino-Linered it .From under the top plate to the deck. There is no liner over the gunnel? Top deck is Riveted/screwed to the gunnel at the top, then the molding covers this. Is this what You were asking? I will post pic's one day/ New camera /manuel 1" thick !
