Default My beloved 23' Inboard is for sale

Due to my current fishing trends I need a boat which can go into the shallow water. This is the only thing my Inboard Seacraft can not do. I am therefore selling her and hoping to replace her with a newer 23' Outboard version. I realize I am not going to have the same ride but hope this differance is slight as I have never riden anything close to this boat.
You can see the pictures on the 23' footer listing. Skip's 23 Footer

I am selling my beloved Seacraft in an effort to have fewer boats in the yard and the right one under me, read the only one. I have struggled with this decision but its time.
Its a 1978 23' center console with a 2002 Marine Power 350 CI / 315 HP fresh water cooled motor, 170 hours. The motor has Warranty coverage through 2008. The boat was refurbed in 2000 with dark blue Imron hull and a white deck. The old plywood floors were removed and replaced with Divycel and glassed in. The console, Hard Tee top, and leaning post are all new and made by the same fabricator that made the Miami built Seacraft parts. The transmission was rebuilt when the motor was replaced and added the Dripless Shaft log too. The SS shaft is 1.25' dia and turns a 15"d x 17.5p Nibral prop.
The Electronics include a Zercom 2k watt LPG2000 fishfinder, Standard Horizon GPS Chart 160, Jensen am/fm/cd player, Stand Horizon and Icom VHF radios and Galaxy antennas. All new Faria gauges and Floscan.
Lee Outrodder Outriggers and 16' X Strong poles, rigged double.
Washdown pump added 2003.
Including a Aluminum Float-On trailer.
Asking 29,000
email me @ [email protected]
or call me 410-746-6907

I am going to miss her.

'78 was a great year. You don't see the inboard model often. You'll kick youself later Capt.
Try the two boat theory

Right on Rich--->try "Pin-Strips" for Marlin bait

Real sorry to hear Skip, but Im sure it wont take long to sell her. My B-I-L has a 1 year old 23 that he keeps he-hawing on selling or not. he wants a cuddy for swmbo (a yuk-robalo,go figure). Anyways if you are interested later lemme know, his is blue,2002(I think) optimax with maybe 50 hrs, trailer. You fishing the TF tournament down here??? Im not sure if Art up here is having a seacraft tourney this year or not but if he doesn't I might start one myself, Ive put together a list of approx. 20 owners I know locally. Maybe mid-december or so. BTW- I got rid of AOHell and have a new e-mail address [email protected] Please e-mail me so I can re-up your address, I lost all of mine- (as well as good links)- craig

I have been in the TWO boat theory for the better part of my Guiding / chartering career. I am looking to simplify my energies. Yes I expect to be kicking myself down the road but can not afford to keep a fleet and want just one boat for awhile.
I am going for a test ride in an Outboard powered 23' Seacraft on sunday to break me in of what to expect before any deal is complete. But the situation I have demands a shallow craft so I must make some sacrifices.
Trust me Craig I'm a little too.
