okey i found a bracket the guy said came off an old 23 pursuit its got a five foot platform and 30 inch set back, my only concern is that the body of it is huge its got a v shape and from the bottom of the v to the top of the platform its 23"... now heres my question im going to run a 25" engie and the top of the point where the engine monts is higher then the 23" platform height so to mount a 25 inch motor how high would the bottom of the (v) platform have to be mounted above the keel for the engine to sit in the right place and then how high from the keel would the platform be for the keel? thanks for the help...
what i need to know is if it will be so high that it is unsightly? i know this is confusing, thanks for the help guys!

I would dry fit it first and see how it lines up. Take a digital pick and post it here.

Just a FYI. I have a link that will show the proper height for mounting a bracket for 20in or 25in shaft motor's. Single or twins.
Out of respect for the manufacture, I will not post it, but I will send it to you via email, if you promise not to post it. |
