Anchor Locker Bulkhead
I am going to knock out and replace the wooden anchor locker bulkhead on my 23CC. I am going to replace it with a cored fiberglass panel. What kind of doors have you guys used?

Re: Anchor Locker Bulkhead
I made the whole thing out of 1/4 inch starboard. Capt Chuck made a real nice locker. I was reviewing the thread the other day. starboard is easy to work with. Scroll down to the bottom of the link.

Re: Anchor Locker Bulkhead
When I recored my deck cap with 3/8" marine plywood, I put the deck cap on without the bulkhead temporarily. I was suprised how much support that bulkhead gives to the deck cap. I like to stand on the front deck cap to fish and don't want any flex. The bulkhead (1973 vintage plywood) was strong but ugly. So I went to Home depot and bought a piece of white formica, cut it to size and glued it in. Not too hard when the deck cap isn't afixed. If I was going to use starboard I would use 3/4" for the stiffness.
