Paint Opinions Please
Getting ready to paint my 20 cc. What's been your experience with the latex non-skid vs the paint additives. Whats the best brand/type to look for. Also, I've never rolled & tipped. Is it much easier than spraying? Thanks in advance.

Re: Paint Opinions Please
RC,
R you painting the whole boat, the deck or the inner liner? There is a lot of excellent information on this site by reading old posts or searching a specific topic. Spraying 2 part paints like Awulgrip is not very healthy. |

Re: Paint Opinions Please
I stumbled across this thread on the hull truth. It has some good info about the roll and tip method. I haven't tried it yet but plan to this summer.

Re: Paint Opinions Please
If you are considering the roll/brush method. Go check out Signature Finish website. Tom offers great help and support with his product. I have just finished the inner liner on my 23 and am very happy with the results. There have been other members who have used this product. I decided to go with it since it is easily repairable.

Re: Paint Opinions Please
At this point I'm just doing the bottom & topsides - both some shade of white. By the way, does anyone have a favorite shade of white? The sides have been sprayed. Seems like spraying might be easier & quicker, although much messier - at least in my hands. How about the non-skid. The latex paints look interesting, but do they hold up?
