Congrats on your 16' CC purchase. Hope you're down south so you can get out and enjoy it through the winter. USCG has a list of manufacturer codes. Based on that info I believe SCR is the manufacturer identification code (MIC) for Sport-Craft of Perry FL. Not built by SeaCraft, but solid nonetheless. It's possible that they shared a parent company at some time but definitely two different boat makers.

I am working on getting pictures here. Hmm.. I picked this boat up from a woman whos boyfriend left it at her house.. ..I was looking for a CC to fit my 16' Starcraft SS that I am restoring.Tis boat offered a 70 hp Merc, CC, Ladder, Kicker mount Transom, 8 fused switch panel..etc..Then my cousin told me about SeaCraft..he has a 24'Rampage, and his eyes got wide when he saw what I picked up for....$300.00 So now I was waffling if I should strip her..or use her as is..Front of console (bow side) says Fisherman by Seacraft..Pics to follow
