Coast Guard Capacity Decals
Awhile back when I did my first 20' CC, someone (I think it was Father Frank) helped me with Coast Guard Capacity decals.
I am looking for CG Decals for the Scampi 15 I am re-doing. Any ideas? Thank you, OP

Try looking back into old posts from 2009 or 2010, and I think you can find the name of the company I ordered the decals from. They had a template design where you just filled in the data. The cost for a single decal is expensive, over $40.
Tell me the actual LOA, including propulsion machinery and any bow attachments, and the beam of the boat, and I can run the numbers and tell you what the maximum hp. capacities are by USCG standards. Assuming an AlphaOne sterndrive mounted to a 15' hull gives you a LOA of 16'8", which rounds up the next higher integer = 17. (If the hull is actually 15'5" or longer, the addition of the sterndrive adds 20", so that would then round up to 18) Beam is probably between 6' and 7', so round that up to 7'. So: (17x7x2)-90= 148, which also rounds up the next 5 hp increment which gives you a maximum hp capacity of 150 hp. (165 hp if the actual LOA including the drive is 17'1" or more) Maximum load, in persons, cargo, and motor depends on a different formula using displacement. I'd have to look that one up :-)

Thanks for replying. All those numbers fall right in line. Now, if someone can tell an old an analog guy like me how to search back that far, I will get a plate. As for price, it is what it is. I doubt I will be having a run of 15' Scampi Restore's.
