20MA Console Mod reccomendations

Im sure there is a link on here as i have found everything else, But im debating modifying my center console before i complete the boat. i enjoy the size of the console but throwing the idea around about adding an extra 9-11 inches to the top with maybe a 4 in flat then angle back down. enough room to store extra electronics. Has anyone done this before?

Great ideas for consoles. Were do you buy a custom windshield?
