Bill Bait Restore .....
Motor is waiting ... the wife wanted the top cap done for this year especially with the repower so it was the beginning.... removed and flipped the cap... re cored with devinycel and coosa type composites and got epoxy ( thanks to Shine ) ... the wife was in and the daughters and the Baby daddy of our New little Deckhand ... a few pics from the beginning... Have to finish up when I get home and hang the motor ... Had to flip the cap and just sit it back in place for the 2 weeks back at work ... of the 14 days at home we worked from sun up till late at night on the boat an house all but 3 days ..... rain.... lol... built a laundry sorter with baskets and a granite top for folding ... a shower door for the outside shower ... new top on my shop workbench ... and installed set of French doors on the back of the house ... Nothing like cutting a BIG hole in the back of your house to frwak you out a little... lol

AMAZING at the difference in rigidity after it was done !!! Thanks again for the help... I should have gotten 2 3gal kits ... I ran short and had to use some VE in a couple things I did... I have a half gallon of it left ... Need a recommendation for paint now .... want to do ice blue sides cobalt bottom and 1 or 2 shades lighter than ice blue on the inside to reduce glare .... I will be spraying ... it seems to be the easiest way to ensure a good finish with the least work... I may just order another 3 gal kit have another boat to do anyway.... I'll be calling .... LOL

As for painting, if you can spray (have equipment and place to do it) then that is the way to go. We have a few blue's in stock for the EMC Quantum paint, and there is still a discount for CSC

I have a couple major refit yards close ... and one of them rents the air system and area to paint for 50 a day or close to it ... will the quantum do non skid ?? and I saw this is not good for below the waterline ??? so I would have to get a different paint for the boot down ??

Signature Finish is the only Urethane I know of that will hold up below the waterline. The company owner painted his pool with it! It's worked well for me, with boat in water as long as 2 weeks at a time.

Yes, you can add non-skid to the paint. $50 a day to rent a spray booth is a great deal, I would jump on that.

it will not be a water baby... it will be in the water for weeks at a time I hope but most likely not for more than 2 at a time .... I keep it on a trailer... and a buddy has a lift I plan to use some ....
