Default Salty Whiskers

Finally got enough of the bugs worked out to venture onto the big blue.
It was a normal So Cal June day, with a strong afternoon breeze, a
big ground swell and some very confused water.

I was instantly impressed with the SeaCraft ride. Very soft and very dry,
as long as speeds were moderate. I was glad I didn't get a heavier motor,
as the Zuke 140 seems a perfect match for this boat in these conditions.

Good stuff. This is the Swiss Army knife of boats that I was hoping for.

No, sorry, just a random paw print to go with my silly dog theme.

Default Side Vents?

Dogbomb-
Hey Tony, looks great! Your effort certainly paid off. A question: my 76 20' Seafari has side vents where your SeaCraft sticker is. Think earlier Seafaris had an aluminum elbow on top of the gunnel just forward of the transom for venting the bilge. How are you venting the bilge? A blower?

Yes, I never trusted passive ventilation, so I installed a blower.
Probably overkill for an outboard.

Very nice Dog, glad you got it out and she exceeded your expectations. Wait til you get friends on board that have different boats..... the funny look on their face will be due to their confusion on why their boat doesn't perform as well.

Thank you, sir!
My buddy, who owns a Wellcraft CC, came with me, and said he'd never set foot on his boat again.

Looks like a great day! I am making slow progress here in Jersey, since Spring is my busy time at work (real estate broker) but still hoping to splash in July.

By the way, thanks again for the tip about the bimini from Ebay - mine just came in and looks great!
