Default Fuel Tank Fabricator Help! (Palm Beach County)

Hi everyone.
I'm in Palm Beach County.

Need a little help. I've retired my 73 (from fishing everyday)And I'm rebuilding her the right way.
She's a 20.

Does anyone know of an inexpensive fuel tank Fabricator
From Stuart to the keys and possibly Tampa
That's my radius of travel. Lol
-I've gotten some quotes from people (friends)
And my eyeballs dropped out of their sockets when the price registered in my brain...
-If anyone has a price range they could give me so I'm not getting beat up by fabricators. I'd really appreciate the help. About 5 years ago I got a quote of $380 from a maker I got from a thread in this site and can't find the thread now
-tank can't be saved it's the worst I've ever seen.

Thanks any help is appreciated.

General rule of thumb is $10/gallon. Nearest you should be Sunshine Tanks, I believe original fabricators of original SeaCrafts. The son still works there, has a classic SeaCraft, and is/was a member here, and went by Fossil Man. He told me $10/gallon was a sloppy way of calculating, and shipping was the major expense. Hopefully, all you should need. He is in South Florida.

Sunshine tanks built one for my old 25 contender and were great to work with. I think they are around Miami. Really nice folks and pricing was reasonable.

There is an aluminum fabricator in Hudson on the west side north of Tampa that built a bullet proof, bare bones tank for me for a little under $9 a gallon. They are forever tanks that are much thicker than what you would get for $10 a gallon anywhere else. Mine is just under 1/4' thick.

1/8th or 3/16ths.

I had mine made outta 1/8th.

Coal tar epoxied and I foamed it in.
I know I know, but it will last for 25 plus years or longer than I may be boating.

Make a new coffin or you will be smelling gas forever.
Glass it as well. My old one was only hot coated in places...

Make a collar around the rigging hole in the deck.
My tank failed on the side there.

Go with the Moose`s guy.

You might try Russ @ Accurate Metal, idlewild Rd., Palm Beach Gardens. He's very good and a SeaCraft lover.
