Core thickness for hatches and deck on 1988 23CC

Does anyone know the core thickness on the hatches and the deck on a 1988 23 CC? I have one side of the aft deck soft that needs to be replaced, the live well hatch is bowed down, the small hatch over the fuel tank as well as the large hatch over the fuel tank and under the console. Also, if anyone has any experience with cutting the core out of the bottom of the hatches I would appreciate any advice.

Deck is 3/4 plywood. Use an oscillating metal blade to access the core.

While servicing my fuel sending unit I realized that the hatch, while not spongy, had experienced water intrusion probably due to unrepaired screw holes by previous owner(s). The hatch weighed over 80lbs!
I took a circular Skilsaw with a carbide blade and cut out the waterlogged plywood core, leaving a 2" wide frame. After letting it dry, I cut out and inserted a panel of 3/4" Airex foam, glassed both sides and gel-coated and non-skidded the deck side.

Thanks for the responses. So do you think I should use marine ply or Coosa board? For these hatches. I was planning on replacing the deck in a few years.
