Keel Saver and Sked Savers... Good/Bad-Pro/Con?
I have an 89 SC 20 SF and I want to do some fishing on the West Coast around Homosassa-Crystal River and cedar Key. I grew up running around the Keys and I'm told the West Coast has a lot of shell fish bars as apposed to the mud flats in the Keys and to be very careful. Would it be worth adding Keel Saver and Sked Savers or is there something better?

Remember that once it's on, it's on! Make sure you slop on the "Tef-Gel Corrosion Eliminator" the Skeg & Skeg Guard love galvanization.

Are you talking about the Skeg Gaurd? I know you can remove the Keel Gaurd if you want. Are both or either of them worth it and will they provide the needed protection or is it a waste of time and money?
