Bought a leaning post from Quality Marine Fabricators in Pompano Beach.Very nice unit.I got the model with a storage bin, removable backrest and 6 rod holders. If you're in the market I highly recommend Q.M.F.

Re: New Leaning Post
SEC.....I 'm in search of that "perfect" leaning post..
Any pictures of it ??? Took a quick look for a website and came up empty. As of right now my favorites are the Birdsall posts but they are a TAD PRICEY The other post I've seen and liked is the one used by Regulator ….I think Ashley Welding ??? in Carolina..... |

Re: New Leaning Post
I had them do my T-top and lean post, I shopped around locally alot and they were the best price.
I showed them a picture of a Birdsall lean post and they basically made me the same one for about a 1/3 less. I would also recommend them. |

Re: New Leaning Post
Scott, the owner Al, said the post was just like a Birdsall leaning post. I've never seen a Birdsall so I can't say. I will say that it is a very nice product. They do everything in house, including the upholstery.I ordered mine in January, and he knocked $100 off the regular price, so I paid $800. A boat dealer in Ct. was having them build a T-top, so he brought my post up with him. The T-top was also very nice. He also brought up 3 other plain jane leaning posts, no storage, no rod holders, no grab rail or foot rest, he was asking $400 for these.
