Default Just venting ....

I know there has been some previous posts on removing or keeping the side vents.

I decided to keep them, but tried to replace the plastic style vents with SS flush style vents.

Problem, the Attwood (#1499, 3"x17") SS vents have only a 1/2" flange. The old plastic ones have a larger flange (3/4" or more?)

Does anyone know of another SS flush vents that are slightly larger to fit?

Thanks Nick

The only thing I know to do is to build up the hole from the inside with fiberglass and then gel coat that will make the opening a little smaller for you to screw in the stainless vents into the smaller opening.

Gemlux, Gemlux vent page has (2) but they will not fit, figured I would post part #'s just in case.

# 763:
Vent Louvered 4.5 X 8.125 In, 3.5 X 7.25 In Opening, Requires 4 # 6 Fasteners

# 765:
Vent Louvered 4.5 X 12.875 In, 3.5 X 12 In Opening, Requires 6 # 6 Fasteners

Both are stamped stainless steel
