1986 20CC prospective buyer
Hi all..I have come accross a 1986 20 CC that I think I can pick up cheap...It has been sitting for awhile with no engine. I have seen pics and its a project boat.My question is about the floor and transome. What are the chances they are rotten??? Whats a fair price for this boat. Whaen I go to inspect this boat are there any particular things I should inspect other than the usual pounding and such???? Thank you and I will try to podt some Pics after I look at it..

Re: 1986 20CC prospective buyer
As its an 86 theres a good chance that the transom is ok. Do the normal plastic mallet tapping on the transom listeneing for dead or hollow spots and walk the floor completely to feel for delamination or soft spots. Other than that its all superficial. With some elbow grease you may be able to buff it out to a respectable shine. If its a good deal grab it!
