Teak question...

Does anyone know of a place that sells the teak trim that goes around the inside of the seacrafts??? I have checked the major boating stores (west. boaters world) and haven't seen anything..thanks..toadfish

Specifically what teak trim are you talking about. Most mods down here in south florida are removing the teak and replacing it with "starboard". I posted a vendor down here that sells the material at about 1/4 of what the boat bandits charge. let me know if I can help.

I also am interested in the company that sells the starboard. I have a 77 18' SF and I would like to replace all of the teak on the boat. thanks

The starboard (they call it Seaboard) is faulkner plastics 1855 w okeechobee Hialeah fl, phone is 305 885 4731. I got the lead from some professional riggers. To give you an idea I paid 140.00 for a 3/8 inch black sheet that was 58inch wide by 96 high. Not bad....considering the marine bandits cost. My teak is slowly becoming a thing of the past....this stuff is great....looks good too!

I'll check & see if I still have any of Mine left.It was in great shape just got tired of removing to brighten.I've replaced all of the teak(ALL) with 3/8 starboard.If it is still at the shop it is yours for the shipping !I'm STILL Restoring Her! All depends on what boat Ya have also?!!'83 masterangler.trim,hatches ,platform(swim)etc.
