Default seavette

I am contemplating the purchase of a 78' Seavette. I understand there were only a few of these made. Can anyone provide me with info/history on the seavette and what a 78' with a brand new 420 mercruiser (500 HP) in good to excellent condition might be worth. Thanks so much. W

If you are looking at the blue hulled one in Ocean Park at Lynnhaven Inlet (Chix Harleys))that is a beautiful boat. I have stopped and looked at it myself. I dont know the history of Seavettes.Might be in the linx somewhere on the site and if you do a search it might turn up something. Also some pix in the for sale forum below. Good luck !, I do know he came down from 30K to 23.9k last week. I would get a survey and a good test ride
