Default new toy

hi have a chance to buy 87 23'sceptre.boat cleans up real nice gelcoat is dull but deck is verry solid and transum looks and sounds good.some stress cracks in helm and deck but otherwise good shape.came w/87 225 rude siezed but might be salvaged.also has decent ezload trailer.the last time boat was in the water was 1996 all wiering looks good light and all function working.can buy for $5600 and allreadey swiepped a200 rude from a buddy redy to splash.i was wondering what the value and being 87 is it tracker built? and if so is it a big deal? looking for any feed back +or- thanks Brandon.

I'd see if there is a way to visually inspect the stringers to make sure they are not cracked or separated from the hull. Maybe get a survey done so that you know what you're up against.

thanks for the reply pulled hatches stringers look good plan on drilling holes in the bottom of them to check for water.ifno water come out going to go with it.?agin canyou tell me for sure if this is a tracker hull?planing to splash this weekend for seatrial but cant get the trim working right. if i onley hook up one wire it works fine but when i hook up both up &down seems to lose voltage like bad ground or wire.
