Default 1973 Seacraft 23' Potter Built

Well, my buddy and I are puttin her up for sale to see if we cant get a bite, she's an awesome boat that handles and rides bigger than her 23 ft frame. Could not be more pleased with the way she rides and sips the fuel - whether we're trolling out east of Chatham or going to Peaked Hill, we've never burned more than 35 gallons (120 gallon tank). Other specs:

Recent upgrades in 2002, Oversized T-Top with Rupp Top Gun outriggers, Furuno Color fish finder, 24 mile radar, 2 Icom VHF radios, optional new 545 garmin GPS/fishfinder, Gaffrig guages, 45 gal live bait well, salt water washdown, battery charger, (3) 90 degree Lee and CJ swivel rod holders and 10 others not including 6 on t-top, 350 Mercruiser I/O with Bravo III outdrive with 1000 hours, many recent parts (alt, starter, belt, serviced injectors, trim tab switch, 2 elec reel plugs w/ 100 amp breaker), Double axle trailer with new axles, hubs, winch post and winch. All in very good condition.

All in all she's a great boat and would make somebody very happy. If anyone is interested, PM me. We'll consider all reasonable offers as well.

ASKING $28,500

Thanks for looking!

Bassriver,

Is your boat the same as this boat?

web page

If not, they sure look alike.

Peter, yeah my buddy and I bought it from Brian, he's a great guy, I havent met him personally, my buddy Chip was the one who picked up the boat down in Jersey and talked with him, but he's got a sick new Contender and we still talk with him, mainly about giant tuna fishing....glad you pointed it out, shows what a tight knit group of guys us Seacraft owners are....we all know she's a great boat, and we really did a lot of sprucing up the engine with new parts, added swivel rod holders, etc. - unfortunately we need to sell her only because we need a cabin for giant hunting in the fall and we need a boat with overnight canyon capability....hopefully she'll go to a good home, thanks Peter

Sick meaning "bad ass" of course, on the Cape it would be "wicked", all I really mean to say is "extremely nice" Contender
