New custom dash panel in black starboard, but still have old woodgrain SeaCraft panel. Green canvas strung on t-top. Stainless steel/white starboard swim platform on port side of transom. Other side has kicker motor bracket (currently off boat). Hull is painted in yellow Imron, bottom is painted with Green Bottomkote (hard finish). Trailer: Galvanized Steel twin-axle Load-Rite roller trailer. New light kit and tongue jack. Brakes(?)... this towed with ease behind a GMC 1500, and even the previous S10 4x4. Editors Comments: At 3400 rpm, this boat cruises at 24kts. At WOT, this boat screams at 38kts (43mph). It has a sharp V at entry and rides much much better than my Mako. We frequently fish four people on this boat with 10 (yes, 10!) rods while trolling. The gunnels are high enough to keep you from feeling like you're not falling out of the boat, and low enough to make boating a fish easy. If you've heard the "Mello Yello" in the middle Chesapeake Bay... you know this boat catches fish! Now for the pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The owner is on a tugboat for two weeks at a time, but his phone is 804-366-6083. Reply here and I'll answer any questions I can.

Update:
Compression numbers 2/20/08: 118 118 118 125 125 118 I also took some more pics. The water jacket shows no signs of leaking or corrossion. This motor is very clean inside. I know he went through several spark plug configurations and finally hit on it with the current set of flat-faced NGK's. I've never seen such a clean set of plugs in a 2-stroke. They were the appropriate tan, and obviously there was a tiny drop of oil, but there was none of that nasty charred oil gunk on them. Here you see the two step/seat/compartments on either side of the splashwell. He has (intact) cushions for each of these. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() For those of you that aren't familiar with ventilated props, you'll see that there are holes in the hub at the leading edge. At a standstill, the exhaust blows out these holes and allows the prop to spin up faster. This is a high pitch (20"+... didn't remember to check) prop that makes this boat really scream... like I said, this thing does 40mph no sweat. ![]() ![]() ![]()
