Oregon Tuna's
Gail and just returned from a 4 week road trip from Florida to Oregon on a northern route and back on a southern route. Traveled 7600 miles and caught trout in Idaho and tuna in Oregon!
In Pacific City Oregon launched a 20 foot dory from the beach in dry suits and went 18 miles out caught 15 albacore averaging 30 pounds on hand lines and back ON the beach by 1230. One of those fishing trips we're glad we went but will never do it again. [image] [image]

Re: Oregon Tuna's
my father is also blessed with a wife who likes to fish; hope to say the same one of these days. the only downfall is her surfcasting puts some of the oldtimers to shame out on MV. looks like you guys had a blast.

Re: Oregon Tuna's
Matt-
Thanks for sharing the pictures. The Oregon Dory looks like an Apollo mission capsule... Were you wishing you had your 23 with you? We used to get lots of cutthroat trout on the Salmon river but I cant tell from the picture if the one you are holding has any red under the jaw? Cool pics strick
