According to the story, we will be bailing out any company that does business with the US, in the US, and has these type of Mortgage related securities. Our tax dollars to bail out China, Saudi, ect.. investment in our mortgage securities. Talk about taking away the capitalist risk vs. reward mechanism. Investments have risks and losers should bear the consequences, just like us who are getting hammered personally. It is black mail by these countries. These countries are saying make this happen or their endless debt financing to allow our life on credit will be over. Either choice is bad, but we have been exporting jobs and $ for oil so long, that this bail-out band aid will be temporary. Sometimes you have to just rip off the band aid
