Ok here is the skinny. Before it goes on Craigslist and other sites.
I bought this engine for the soul purpose to resell and make a few bucks to subsidize the cost of restoring the 21. I bought it from the original owner who was a boat builder. The engine has less that 30 hours on it. He used it for a test on one of his hulls. Due to the economy he went out of business and was liquidating every thing. Needless to say his loss is my (and your) gain. This package including transmission brand new cost $12459.00 I am selling it for $4900.00 I will pay for gas and or shipping up to $150.00 Go to this site for complete information on this engine. Crusader 6.0 Thanks,

I would need to change flywheel and bell housing and a few other things.
Would rather use the $$ to finish the boat and hopefully my 401 will return to 401k.

One word. Junkyard!
I needed new tires for my truck. $320. My steelies with 205 75s were marginal at the ramp at best, so I found some nice factory alloy wheels with some good Michelin 235 70s for $140 and sold the steelies for $50. What a diffrence! I`d forgotten how much fun I used to have treasure hunting at the junkyard. Terry, with that kinda power you`ll loaf along for thousands of hours and the 401 isn`t going to see k for a long time. Spin some wrenches you old hotrodder! GFS |

Sandy - if those factory alloys are like mine (8"x15"), when you wear out the Michelins, you can do a "+1" like I did and upgrade from 235-70 to 275-60 series and still have same diameter tire! Makes a huge difference in handling as well as traction! Denny

I may have a buyer for it, can you ship it to Massachusetts? Is there a crate available, or would we need to have it crated?
Thanks, Dan
