New to the forum.
Just bought my first Classic! After owning a 2001 20' SeaCraft and a 1998 25' SeaCraft I just bought a 1976 23' Inboard. It is powered by a 330hp Marine power 350. It needs alittle TLC but all in all it is a turn key fishing machine. [image][/image]

Re: New to the forum.
Nice Rig. I have always loved the look of the inboard 23s. Just a clean, classic fishing machine.
Even though I'm from NJ I am a big lurker on all the NE fishing forums. I have seen a lot of your reports and am jealous of the bluefin fishery you guys have up there!

Re: New to the forum.
Beautiful boat, and a rare one at that. I had seen all the ads for your 25 on THT and CL; glad to see you were able to sell it. Welcome to the site.

Quote:
I do not have any performance #'s or data. I bought the boat with an "Is what it is" attitude. It's got to be more economical than the twin 200's my last boat had and thats all that really matters to me right now. Anyway, I have already aquired a newer t-top for the boat and some rough measurements taken yesterday say it will fit. Here is my question, the existing t-top is secured to the center console allowing the whole assembly to hinge forward to access the engine. The new t-top is designed to mount to the deck. The only issues I forsee is how to run the wires for all my electronics mounted on the t-top and how to mount the t-top to the deck? I like the idea of mounting the t-top to the deck because I will be installing out riggers and possibly a radar in the near future and don't like the idea of that much weight being applied to the center console. Thanks, Dan Stewart [image][/image]

Re: New to the forum.
Should not be too much trouble to find an alum. fab shop to make some attaching points for your new top.
