phase 1
Got back from vacation and started filling blisters. There has to be over 700 of the little bastards. Many of these need two fillings. Since i needed a break i started working on the pilot house and a scupper solution that fits my needs. If any one who has barrier coated has any tips regarding application I would love to hear from you. A couple pics of the pilot house and the first part of my scuppers

On the barrier coat just roll it on with a short nap roller meant for epoxies. It leaves the surface with a very gentle orange peel that looks like it belongs on the boat. If you want leave it and them bottom coat. The instructions will tell you how much time you have before you have to sand it before putting on the anti foul.

phase 1 update
Got a little work done. The wheel house is primed but needs a little more fairing. Also made some progress with my scuppers. Being a commercial rod and realer I felt the current set up was not practical so i went with two extra scuppers on top of the factory thru deck. My first scupper is thru the deck to a catch basin in the hull. In the catch basin there will be a 1500 bilge. This scupper has a strainer and will used to discharge spray water rain water and hose wash down. My second scupper is 3" thru the transom. It is threaded so a stopper can be put in or taken out when needed. During the day big chunks of bait and other fish parts wind up on the deck. Now all i have to due is pull the plug and under a slow speed 5 galllon bucket the deck Got my windows today so i now need to make some frames.
