Default Suggestions?

I'm getting ready to have the topside of my 1976 20' Seacraft center console painted. I'm not doing the work myself but i'm looking for ideas/pictures especially for console and bench seat. I bought the boat about 3 years ago. You can see that the bench seat is secured with cooler tie downs. Looking for a cleaner, better way? Should I go with a leaning post? As far as my console, I'll probably be replacing all of the gauges. I will also be removing the bow rail, good idea? How about number of rod holders and cleats and placement? Not looking for anything fancy and expensive, just clean and simple. Thanks!
