Default Scored the hookah.

Well, a HUGE thanks to Normagain. She needs some love, but the clamage was too good to pass up. Bracket vs open transom??? This makes it harder. No Euro for me thanks. Sorry Bly, did not mean to insult you.

Hey Ken and Chuck, could you imagine the State of Florida putting out a $1 reward for dead Lion fish?? I can see it now.....GFS in his Gucci wet suit towing his hookah from his mother ship "The Slacker" all over the Keys spending days on end making his living spearing lion fish. I figure within in five years he will have rounded up 90% of those damn things and be famous. He will have his own Lion fish TV show and move "Duck Dynasty" out of the top spot. It will be nice knowing such a celebrity!!

Slacker Air coming to a reef near you.
Have a wetsuit courtesy of Blue Heron.

Thoughts...Pull the head and check the bore. Add fan for cooling. Wheels. Aluminum axle? Snorkle.

Best way to prep for paint? Wire brush and degreaser. Alcohol. Soap and water. Rinse.
Zinc chromate primer. Rustoleum epoxy paint. All advice is welcome.

Cheerzzz,
GFS

Sandy - check out POR-15 http://www.advanced-rust-protection.com/por15info.htm
A friend of mine that's a Professional Engineer who runs a consulting business specializing in restoration of reinforced concrete buildings/oceanfront condo's specified it for protecting the cables in post-tension buildings. (These are cables installed in the slabs of high rise buildings that are stretched to keep the concrete in tension after it cures. If the cables rust thru, it's a serious problem!) I used it on the floorboards of the old 'Cuda I'm restoring. The guy who painted it that does professional show car restorations is so impressed with it that he's now using it also. It's very tough stuff. They've coated a rusty brake drum with it, and were unable to chip it with a ball peen hammer! The only downside to it is that it won't tolerate UV, so it needs a topcoat if it's exposed to the sun. Denny
