Seacraft 20CC
Came across a used 20' Seacraft for sale I plan to look at this weekend. From the pictures and feedback appears to need some cosmetic work but overall good bones (I hope).
The boat comes with a 2000 Johnson 150 Fast Strike ob. Will be checking compression, LU oil, etc, but was looking for feedback from those in the know. From the little I have found so far this appears to be a pretty reliable engine although it is somewhat thirsty. Parts and repairs are also pretty economical. Is this a fair assessment? Is this a motor a good match for the 20' CC? Any ideas on market value if I decide to sell? TIA for your feedback! SandlapperGT |

What year is the hull? Tried emailing you back but was unable. Are you or the hull in Beaufort County?

Hi Vezo,
The hull is a 1976 Seacraft CC and owner 'thinks' the engine is a 2000 with low hours. Form the pics he has lined the deck with astro turf so it may be a complete mess when I look at it. I live in Atlanta now and the boat is nearby, but my Mom and other family members are still in Okatie/Beaufort County. |

Those are good motors to build power on. Seen some turning up making big hp. Like said it will drink gas but light is right and she don't weigh much. Check over the hull well.
