Cleaning Aluminum
Hello, I have a chance to buy some used American racing wheels for my old Jeep CJ7. Trouble is the two front wheels have a bit of brake dust staining on them and I'm worried I won't be able to get them real clean. Any thoughts or experience in such a thing? Thank you.

I owned and operated a self service carwash for 25 years....
The product you need is called "Brighter" Completly safe for washing the the aluminum wheels on the Jeep !!

It is a commercial product, generally not sold to the public...
Acid wash that is safe for aluminum wheels! I used to purchase it from Sonny's in Ft.Lauderdale, FL. There maybe other brands out there today. I sold the business to the county when they were widening the road in 2005.... So have been out of the loop since then. Good luck.. PS: Danny, How many people do you know have one of these for a shop vac!!

Hey Ken, I like the way you bypassed the coin operation feature!! It would have killed you if you had to feed it quarters!

Boy, could I make a very undeserved crack about No-Bones about now. Many actually, but that would label me as someone who really SUCKS!
