Default Transom replacement 1973 23' Seacraft OB, CC.

I have a 1973 23' Seacraft, center console and outboard version. The transom needs replacement. I cannot do the work myself.
I live on Cape Cod, Ma....Mid Cape area. Any recommendations on who does this type of work, where they are located and the average cost for replacement. Thanks for your replies.

Try Chatham Boat Co, through whom I purchased my 23' Sceptre 'Seneca' last year. I think they did some extensive transom work when the previous owner bought it 9 years ago. The owner is on site actually working with his crew. Charley is the guy who'll answer the phone. He is helpful and knowledgeable.
