1970 Seacraft fully customized back in 1971
I purchased my 1970 20ft open fisherman Sea Craft back in 1970 where I spent the next year customizing it. One of the many things I did was make and install teak spray rails. They are still as good as new and make the ride 85-90% dryer along with trim tabs and knowledgeable boat handling. The boat is still in excellent condition today. If you have any questions or would like to talk feel free to contact me at 850-925-9925 and ask for Dave . i am not tech savy - my daudghter put this on here for me

Stearn Rider
Very nice. One of the very rare Seacraft Stern-riders. I'm sure it's very confortable back there in the 2' square "Big Bend" chop and she has enough room to hold a square dance in front of the console! Spray rails knock down the November crosswinds - excellent!
Tom Paris may as well jump up off his wallet and put all new running gear on his trailer, since DMVAT's boat has as much Electronic Warfare equipment as an F-111 Aardvark stuffed in the E-pod above the console, there are no fish within 50 miles of St. Marks boat ramp. Either Steinhatchee or Applachcola should be Tom's first stop. |

Very nice work and I agree a beautiful boat. What is the wood structure at the center console and how do you see around it?

How did you fasten the spray rails, do you have access for through bolts ?

There is no access to put through bolts. It is a complex process to install spray rails. I have built and installed over 40 sets. Feel free to call me if you would like to learn more.

Man that looks like No Bones boat the 1st time i saw it. South Fl rigged. If you wanted to sit down you just put a cushion on the motor cowl.

Nice talking with you Dave, however I was a little surprized if not disappointed that all I "learned" when I called you as you suggested in your post above, is that you are soliciting to install spray rails for $1000.00

Spray rails
I thought the same just by reading the post. But hey he's just trying to make a living.. apparently he does not realize how much us guys need to save money to put to good use.. apart rails are nice. But. With the talent on this forum a grand will go a long way. I'm always looking for a deal but spray rails are the least of my worries right now...
