1975 Seacrest 23
Hey all. New to sight. Was hoping I could get some help with this. I am looking at a 1975 23 Superfish I/O, but the photo of the serial number is puzzling me. Serial number is SECF3028M750. I can figure out all but the M750. Any thoughts? Thanks.

If you read this thread, you will see that the F3 is the 23 Superfish 028 would be the number of your hull out of the factory, but M750 is not correct.
This is an example from this thread showing the breakdown of a typical 23 FT Seacraft Hull ID: Hull ID: SECF30070778 SEC = SeaCraft F3 = Superfish 23' 007 = Hull number 07 = July 78 = 1978 Real close to mine = SECF30491278; hull # 49 Dec 1978 Any hull manufactured July or after is titled the following year http://www.classicseacraft.com/commu...on+code&page=2 |

Hull ID: SECF30070778
SEC = SeaCraft F3 = Superfish 23' 007 = Hull number 07 = July 78 = 1978 Hey that's my hull!!!!!!!!! |

Prior to '84 there were a couple of ways to tag the boat.
M750 represents M = model year 75 = year of production 0 = has me perplexed because the 0 would represent month and be designated by letter beginning w A in August, B=September... Oct would = C but this alphabet for months only ends with L for July... SEC = SeaCraft F3 = Superfish 23' 028 = Hull number M75 = model year '75 0 = ? could be, "O" mistake for Oct. "C" would be actual Oct...???

Thanks for all the replies. Need to apologize for my fat fingered typing. Title should read 1975 Seacraft 23. I'll see if I can upload a pic of the serial number.
