I had a great uncle who moved up there in 1938 as a plumber and a property care taker, in So. Wellfleet. Visited every summer. Family friends came up with us in 1977 and never left. The family of four are still there. Around ‘78 or ‘79 my parents bought a lot, which we never did anything with. My dad kept it after the divorce, and eventually he convinced me we would be better off selling, after my brother and I moved to SC to become career firefighters. I still continued to visit my childhood friend every fall, yes after Labor Day, up until 2010. I think this pic was that year. Race Point.
