Saugeye,
Any local canvas shop that does marine canvas should easily be able to make one up for you. Also there are many online sources that can make one up from your measurements and they also make a fit all that can cover many sizes. Check out Craigslist, I've seen several on there as well. and are usually reasonably priced. I bought one off craigslist that was close to the size I needed for my aluminum boat, had to do a little adaption but it it does the job keeping the sun out, and offers some protection in a light shower.

Make it robust, strong to take a beating. The soft tops that last the longest, are the ones that you don't take off. Use isinglass that is heavy gauge, the most clear, durable stuff you can afford 'cause you're going to be looking through that more than the glass windshield. Make sure it's all TIGHT. Use premium thread for sewing. I went with a vinyl-like material for my hardtop - just as durable as canvas ( I forget the trade name, but its used a lot )...
Don't skimp ! Go to the most reputable guy. You're going to have this for a while so you should really be happy with it. I used a guy around by me to do my hardtop curtains - he wasn't cheap, but damn! his work is good and I'm very happy ! As for design, there are some guys on this site who had posted pix of their soft tops and they were awesome looking - a guy in NJ had my favorite... |

I also went with the Seamark Sunbrella on my 23 Tsunami.and its almost identical to the top that Riptide has on his boat in the previous post.
I had the top made by a local guy who only does boat tops and is very reasonable on price. He made my top eight years ago in 2009 and its still in excellant condition. It stays up all year round.I did however have to have the front windows above the windshield replaced beecause II used too many cleaners on them. I Had them replaced with Strata Glass and give them a cleaning when neeeded with Kleer to Sea by Doctor Clear. The Seamark Sunbrella has held up beyond my expectations.

I ordered the 3 bow version of this from MarineRv Direct on Ebay and it was here fast, affordable,a dn reasonably good quality. I am not sure whether they have the full enclosure models, but if you just want an open bimini, it is a good way to go.
Second photo is of mine installed. |
