Transome splash guards
I just made some transom splash guards for my 20 foot center console , it has an outboard engine. I always thought the transoms sits low on these SeaCraft boats. I have a 115 hp 2 stroke. I know some put the heavy 4 strokes on.
Has anyone else put splash guards on their boats? Thanks Not sure how to post a picture, or I would . Any help there would be great. Thanks again. |

PVC Transom Splashguard
I glued PVC together resulting in port and starboard pieces that meet under the engine. The dam height under the engine must be less than the rest of it to avoid an interference when the engine is tilted. Splashguard is a good description as it is not water tight. Along the centerline the engine itself will block most of the splash.
