You are going to have limited clearance with the bracket. This will require edge mount tabs that don't have as much throw. Go with the biggest tabs you can fit. I ended up with 12x12 and still wish I had more tab.

Trim tabs
That’s good info. Do you no if the edge mount will require a full bolt with nut or just screw in.

Ollboat trim tab
I think if I go with the 12X18 lenco I will thru bolt. I still have option decks are not glassed in yet. That’s a lot of pressure with that big of plate

Go with the 12 x 12 Bennett Bolts. They will mount just under 10" up your 13 degree transom, see post #43 below link. We mounted a 27" bracket just above the top of the trim tab's bracket, about 3/8". No notching the bracket, worked perfect for a 25" shaft eTec G2. No thru bolt, just screws and 5200.

Old boat trim tabs
Thx the bolts look good. Based on the Armstrong spec measuring up 28 inch 72 inch wide and back down 2 inch for bracket it looks like I have a little more than 12 inch to work with so they would have plenty of room. That is mounting past last chime all the way outside. About 3 inch from outside

Bennett Bolts
Hey Don- thought I read somewhere that an advantage of the hydraulic tabs is they stopped immediately whereas there was some overtravel with the electric tabs. Maybe not for the Bennett Bolts. What is your conclusion? Thx

Hey "T", I'm not sure about that. It's my brother's boat and he's REAL happy with them so far, plus I never had issues with "overtravel" with the Lencos I had on my Pathfinder.....just had to replace them too often, while my hydraulic Bennett's are still going after 40 years.
