Fuel fill line replacement
2003 23' CC. Getting some gas in bilge when fueling, traced it to the fill hose. Have hose detached from tank and fuel fill cap. Fill hose goes through a small circle with vent hose. Removed vent hose to create room but no joy, fill hose will not move.
Anyone else done this? |

I'm thinking your fuel hose is petrified and is simply going to take tons of pulling force. Mine is an 18 and the path the fill hose took had plenty of clearance, theoretically, but it had 3 bends in it and did NOT want to come out. My pulling device was a 6'4" 265lb fellow employee. Good luck!

When I did my 18 (and my 23) I used a forklift.

Tie a rope to the tank end so you can pull the new hose back down
Add some vaseline all over the new hose to assist. Not an easy job

I used a barbed coupling, clamped the 2 together and I pushed while my buddy pulled and twisted.
