Default Scepter to CC Convertion

This winter we will most probably convert our restored Sceptre to a CC. Why? Recently i purchase a cobia 220. Love the CC and topside layout of the Cobia. However, it does not ride close to the Seacraft in rough conditions. CC a lot easier to fish and access the entire boat and you are sitting further back than the Scepter.

Following is the sketch that what i have in mind. A fellow secraft member and wildfire marine has already done it. I would like to hear critique from fellow members and suggestion of course.

- The 2 forward seating will serve as dry storage (wildfire marine did this conversion for someone).
- The current "hole" in the floor of the cuddy will be the fix box. It will keep the current raise floor of 4 to 5".
- Console ( built myself) will be large enough for a head. Front of console will be livewell/cooler to offset weight
- The front floor storage in the cabin is reserve for trolling motor batteries.
- Boat currently has 2 x Mercury 115HP 4 stroke. Tank is cut short to 88 gal and battery located right after tank. Current boat is in very good balance with no water coming in the rear scupper
- would like to do something on the motor well but cannot come up with a solution. do not want to convert it to a bracket.
