Look what fell into my lap
Was looking on the various sites last night as I was talking to my son on to go with a t top or bikini top I saw this.
Not far from my house and picked it up for $250. Needs a little adaptation and new canvas. Got lucky as seller had 30 guys calling but he honored that I was 1st |

Score! Especially if it fits with reasonable mod.

The mod needed are the square aluminium plates on the 4 posts. The way they are now they wont work and plus they are ugly.
I cut it off on the pic but it has a spreader light and 4 Lee's gold rod holders |

That is a deal. Regarding the pads, the best design I ever saw was a standard round pad with the down tube welded off-centered to one side. This allowed the tubing to be a bit closer to the console and also limited that likely hood of getting a toe hung up between the tube and the console.

Contacted a aluminium fabricator to cut off the square bases and add the round one's I like and not to bad on the price of $20 per leg. He's also going to adjust the 2 side stanchions and the ones that attach to the top of the console.
I had the foresight when I did the floor to glass the support to attach the 4 legs. Glad I had a bright idea |
