In short I used Seacast two years ago on my transom redo. While I have had no problem with the results if I were to do another I would use Arjay and the method Jim used on 77sceptre. If you care for more detailed information PM me with your phone number. Seacast is suppose to be lighter than wood, per my measurements not true although slightly lighter than Arjay. As I recall both DonV and his brother Bill used Arjay.

I used Arjay, the removal of the rotten wood was a pain but the actual pour was easy. Hard as a rock and I liked that it gets into all the nooks and crannies that going wood would not get. Make sure you have every hole cover up or it will pour out....ask me how I know
