HIN - New Transom
What are folks doing about losing the original HIN when replacing a transom?
How are you handling registering it when the state requires a pencil outline of the HIN? Does anyone know where the 2nd onboard HIN is on a 1973 Tsunami 23’? Thanks |

Nice idea - Looks like the shop that did my transom is sending me a plate which is being made at Winthrop Tackle in CT.

I’ve contacted machine plates online to get a stainless plate done. I’ll have to revive that project (now that covid is over), Terry wanted me to get this figured out too…

Hi
My friend who did my transom had Winthrop Technologies (They make rod guides and rod butts) make if for me as a favor as I had him do my transom. He is friends with Fred the owner. I do not believe they actually do these for folks, maybe just a one time deal, but I will ask. |
