Mr. Potter was kind enough to share some info with me on Seacraft Delivery by model and year,

Curious what your answers will be.

Questions:

1. Which year did SeaCraft Manufacter the most boats? ( after 1968 before 1980 "Potter Years")

2. In one year, what was the highest number of 20ft CC SC outboard version built?

3. In one year, what was the highest number of 23ft CC SC outboard version built?

The numbers may suprise you.

I will post Seacraft Deliveries by model and Calender years shortly.

I WOULD SAY THERE WERE ONLY ABOUT 90 23'
CC MADE IN 73'
1976 FOR THE 20' BOATS
1978 FOR THE 23' BOATS

As I expected you just about nailed it, you did nail it on the 23!

I will post the answers ASAP I just need to verify a few things with the data I have. I will verify the answers if they are correct as Seafari's was.

In 1973 there were 95 23CC OB's made.
This was the big year for the 23 CC OB.

Still looking for:

I am going to guess that 1976 was the year of highest "total" boats made.

I'd say 76 also ..... as we have discussed before the thing with the HID# not matching the registration document(i.e. 76 on the hull and 77 on the registration)......Sound like that would occur if too many boat were produced in 1976....

I have yet to hear from Mr. Potter so I do not have the #'s for years 1968 or 1969 but I know they were not the highest #'s.

1973 Most SeaCrafts built, 788 total

1973 Most 20 OB CC's 308

1973 Most 23 OB CC's as well
